This past weekend (April 21-22) 3DHEALS hosted a conference focused on the current advancement of 3D printing and bio-printing technology. A wealth of healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, developers, designers, regulatory experts, and investors attended this conference. The host for the conference is Jenny Chen who is the founder/CEO of 3DHEALS and current adjunct clinical faculty in the radiology department at Stanford Healthcare.

This is a summary and reflection of my work at Neodyne Bioscience in 2015 and 2016. Not only did I become a project manager on R&D project, but I also worked on several Operations and Quality Assurance projects that involved transforming a CAD file on the computer screen into a feasible product in the customer’s hands. I came away with a better understanding of system thinking and producing medical devices.
